Action Scripts are basically a recording of steps you take in Photoshop to create a certain effect. So if there are certain tasks that you always do in Photoshop, you can record your steps and save them into an action script.
And you can later play back all of the steps that you recorded by simply playing the action script. Basically, pressing a button!

Finally, some questions you might have...
- I do not have Photoshop, how can I get it cheap?
- Can I use a different graphical software package, such as Gimp?

As I explained above - I got my copy of Photoshop from eBay for under $100 - never opened and sold by someone that had 'buyers remorse'! The Action Scripts work with earlier versions of Photoshop anyway - these always go cheap on eBay or Amazon. You can also find versions for download from Authorized Resellers that you can get digitally - you download the contents - but with no packaging. Again, under $100 usually. Just do a search.

NO - these will only work with Photoshop. They do work on either Windows or Mac though.

Again, no - these will not work with Photoshop Elements, so don't try. Adobe Photoshop is a superior product to Elements and if you are thinking about which one to get - don't assume that cheaper is better! I know which one I would choose for a multitude of reasons!

The eCovers are at 300 dpi, meaning very high resolution which allows you to print very high quality images from your printer. You can send the source files to a professional print company for printed offline material for your brochures etc.

Yes, The action scripts will work .. but the smart templates will not work.

I cannot judge your skill level sitting here in Canberra! But, the instructional videos inside this package take you step by step through the process of using the Action Scripts and the Templates. I do not see this as hard at all and believe that, very quickly, you'll be able to knock off high quality graphics in your sleep (well, maybe not quite - but you know what I mean). Seriously, this is easy - you could even set yourself up as an eCover creator yourself and charge $27 a pop!

Yes, you will. But you can start with the designs contained in the package and build from them. They are pretty slick! I'd suggest you start adding your own images into designs - from places such as iStockphoto or PresenterMedia. I also have a pretty cool proposal for you inside that will help you get your design juices flowing!
